CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel tennis team is set to compete in a doubleheader matchup against Methodist University on Mar. 13 and resumes Southern Conference play against UNCG on Mar. 14
The Bulldogs are 5-15 overall and 0-1 in conference play for the season.
Hayden Shoemake is on a two-match winning streak in the No. 1 singles spot with victories against Davidson and Campbell.
Scouting Methodist
Methodist is 1-2 on the season with a recent win against North Carolina A&T. The first match will occur at 2 pm and the second at 6 pm. The Citadel has a nine-game winning streak against Methodist, with the most recent victory for the Bulldogs, winning 6-1.
Scouting UNCG
The Spartans are 4-9 overall and 0-1 in conference play. UNCG won against Guilford college and is set to play ETSU before they face the Bulldogs. Andrew Black leads the Spartans with a 6-6 singles record. In the most recent matchup, The Bulldogs were defeated by UNCG 3-4.
