Bulldogs-Jayhawks Set for Three-Game Series at The Joe

GAME NOTES

CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Citadel returns to Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park for the fifth consecutive weekend as the Bulldogs play host to Kansas in a three-game series. Mother nature will again have an impact on the weekend schedule as the teams will play a doubleheader on Friday at 1 p.m. and conclude with a noon game on Sunday.

Weekend Weather
Temperatures are expected to be near 70 degrees for the series opener on Friday, but rain could play a factor on Saturday.

Tickets for all home games are available on CitadelSports.com/tickets or by calling the box office at 843-953-DOGS. Tickets will also be available at the stadium box office starting one hour before first pitch.

vs. Kansas
This teams are meeting for just the second time in program history. The only previous meeting came in the 2017 season opener with the Jayhawks coming away with a 7-5 victory inside Riley Park.

vs. the Big 12
The weekend series marks the second-straight season the Bulldogs will play a team from the Big 12. Last season, The Citadel hosted Texas in a midweek game.

NCAA Basketball Tournament
The series against Kansas marks the second-straight season the Bulldogs will be hosting a team that is also playing in the NCAA Basketball Tournament. Last season, the Bulldogs were hosting Saint Peter's during their run into the Sweet 16.

On Deck
The Bulldogs play their second midweek home game of the season as they welcome Charleston Southern to Riley Park on March 21.
