CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel men's and women's track and field teams are ready to return to work at the Weems Baskin Invitational hosted by the University of South Carolina on Mar. 24-25.

Friday's field events will begin with the women's hammer throw at noon and the track events at 4:00 pm with the women's 400m.

Saturday's events start with the men's discus throw and the women's 1500m at 10:00 am.

On the Men's Side

Reggie Reynolds held the top spot in the hammer throw with a toss of 151-9 at the Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge.
Solomon Ghosh finished first in the discus throw with a 167-5.
Kane Duncan placed second in the 400m dash with a time of 49.03.
The 4x200-meter relay team of Kane Duncan, Treonte Newton, Olin Korey, and Demetrius Shine posted a third-place finish of 1:30.79.
The 4x800-meter relay team of Andrew Smith, Bryce Baglia, Aidan Richter, and Ty Duben earned a third-place finish with a time of 8:07.97.

On the Women's Side

Heidi Fortin continues to break school records as she broke the 10K record with a time of 38:05.37 to finish in first place.
Tatiana Corso earned a second-place finish in the shot put with a put of 40-10.25
The 4x200-meter relay team of Mecca Jackson, Zeniyah Lawrence, Leah Murray, and Cyla Byrd finished in second place with a time of 1:43.40.
In the Javelin, Ali Ruffin finished fourth with a toss of 117-11.
