Baseball Set for Three-Game Series with Holy Cross

GAME NOTES

CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Citadel returns to the friendly confines of Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park on March 10-12 as it welcomes Holy Cross for a three-game series. The series opener is set for 4 p.m., with Saturday's game slated for 2 p.m. and a 1 p.m. matinee on Sunday.

vs. Holy Cross
This weekend's series against Holy Cross marks the first all-time meetings between the two schools on the diamond.

vs. the Patriot League
The weekend series marks the second time this season the Bulldogs will host a team from the Patriot League. The Citadel played host to Lehigh on the second weekend of the season.

15 Strikeouts
Seven Bulldog pitchers combined to strikeout 15 South Carolina hitters. It was the most against the Gamecocks since Vanderbilt struck out 16 on March 25, 2022.

Swygert Deals in Return
Sam Swygert returned to where he began his collegiate career and calmly struck out four of the six hitters he faced against South Carolina, including striking out the side in his first inning of work.

On Deck
The Bulldogs play their third-straight midweek game on the road as they travel to face USC Upstate on March 14 at 4 p.m.
