GAME NOTES
CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Citadel plays its second Southern Conference home series of the season as the Bulldogs welcome ETSU to Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park on April 21-23. The series is set to get underway Friday at 6 p.m., and continue with a 2 p.m. first pitch on Saturday and a 1 p.m. start on Sunday.

Left hander Will Holmes entered the Saturday game at UNCG with the bases loaded and one out in a 4-3 game in the eighth inning. He proceeded to get a force out at the plate, then a groundout to end the inning. He would pitch a scoreless ninth to earn his first save of the season.
Sawyer Reeves Leads Off With Homer
Sawyer Reeves hit his first home run of his career on Saturday at UNCG as the shortstop hit the third pitch of the game over fence in left field.
Taking Road Series
The Citadel took the series at UNCG marking the first road series victory since taking the final two games in the final weekend series of the 2019 season at Western Carolina.
Winning Series Opener on the Road
The Bulldogs opened the weekend series at UNCG with an 11-1 victory. It marked the first time since the 2018 season against VMI that the Bulldogs won the series opener on the road.

The Bulldogs make the short journey to North Charleston to face Charleston Southern on April 25 at 5 p.m.
