GAME NOTES
CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Citadel plays its first four-game weekend series of the season as the Bulldogs welcome Ball State to the Lowcountry April 6-8. The series is set to get underway Thursday and 5 p.m., and continue with a 1 p.m. doubleheader on Friday and conclude with a 1 p.m. game on Saturday.

The Citadel and Ball State have met twice prior on the diamond with the Bulldogs coming away victorious in the previous two meetings. The Citadel won 6-5 on Feb. 27, 1985, and 6-4, on March 8, 2011.
Last Meeting vs. Ball State
The Citadel got three RBIs from Joe Jackson and five strong innings from Connor Hitchingham in 6-4 victory over the Cardinals on March 8, 2011 inside Riley Park.
vs. the MAC
The Citadel is 10-7 all-time against teams from the Mid-American Conference. Ball State is the first MAC team to visit The Joe since Kent State played a midweek game at The Joe on Feb. 27, 2019.
