Bulldogs Ready for Double Header

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel tennis team faces off with a home and away double header on Apr. 7 with Furman at the Earle Tennis Center at 10 a.m. and then travels across the bridge to face the College of Charleston at 4:30.
 
The Citadel jumps back into conference play against the Paladins with a 9-16 overall record and a 2-2 conference record.
 
Shoemake Undefeated in Tournament Play
Hayden Shoemake, the no. 1 singles player, was 3-0 in match play in The Citadel Spring Classic, bringing his record to 6-0 in tournament play.
 
Scouting Furman
The Paladins are 7-13 overall and 1-3 in conference play. Furman lost their three previous SoCon matches against Samford, Chattanooga, and ETSU. Jerry Barton leads the Paladins in the no. 1 singles spot with an 8-9 record. In the most recent matchup, The Citadel suffered a defeat, 0-7.
 
Scouting College of Charleston
The Cougars are 8-8 overall and 0-1 in CAA conference play. The College of Charleston will take on Newberry before facing The Citadel on Apr. 6. Andre Limon and Johnny Wang lead the Cougars with 12-5 singles records. College of Charleston defeated The Citadel, 7-0, in their most recent match-up.
