CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel tennis team will open up against the University of Denver in the quarterfinals of the inaugural NIT championships on May 18 in Peachtree City, Georgia.

The match will start at 3:00 p.m. at the Peachtree Tennis Center and will be broadcasted on Prime Video, free for Prime members.
 
The Bulldogs will look to bounce back after suffering a first-round loss to the now 2023 Southern Conference Champions, ETSU.
 
Scouting Denver
Denver had a 15-8 overall record and a 5-0 conference record in the Summit League. Denver is led by Nicolas Herrero Cuesta, who has a 19-4 singles record in the No. 1 spot. Denver lost in the Summit League Championships to Drake. This will be the first meeting between both teams.
