GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Citadel suffered a 12-0 setback against the ETSU Buccaneers in the 2023 Southern Conference Baseball Championships at Flour Field on Thursday morning.

How it Happened
- ETSU got on the board with a two-run home run from Noah Webb in the bottom of the second.
- The Bucs added another run after Cody Miller hit a solo home run to left field to make it 3-0.
- The Bulldogs suffered three errors in the bottom of the fourth inning which led to ETSU putting up eight runs, seven of which were unearned.
- A bases-loaded walk for the Bucs extended their lead to 12-0.
Inside the Box Score
- Crosby Jones accounted for two of the four hits for the Bulldogs.
- Chase Loggins picked up a pinch-hit single to the shortstop in the top of the seventh.
- Nathanial Tate (9-4) picked up the win after throwing a complete game, four-hit shutout.
- Sam Swygert (5-4) suffered the loss on four earned, seven hits, and two strikeouts on 3.1 innings pitched.
