Bulldogs Begin Home Stretch with Weekend Series Against VMI

GAME NOTES

CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Citadel returns to Southern Conference action as it welcomes VMI to the Lowcountry for a three-game series May 5-7. All three games of the series will start at 1 p.m. and be part of a doubleheader at The Joe all three days as the Charleston RiverDogs play each evening.

vs. VMI
The Citadel and VMI have met 106 times since 1965 with the Bulldogs holding a 74-42 advantage in the all-time series. The Keydets have had the advantage over the past couple years, winning five of the last six contests.

Last Meeting vs. VMI
The Citadel bats got going early as they scored six runs in each of the first two innings en route to a 22-5 victory in Lexington last season. Anthony Badala drove in five runs, while Travis Lott went 4-for-4 and scored five times.

The Bulldogs return to action May 12-14 as they travel to face Western Carolina.
