CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel basketball team utilized an 18-4 stretch in the latter stages of the first half to open up a 40-22 edge over Toccoa Falls College on its way to earning a 94-57 blowout victory on Tuesday night.
Brody Fox led the Bulldogs with 20 points while
Colby McAllister netted a career-high 17 points thanks to five made 3-pointers, another career-high.
First Half:
- Paxton Davidson's three-ball gave the Bulldogs an early 18-8 edge.
- At the 4:01 mark, McAllister made his fourth 3-pointer of the first half as The Citadel took a 36-19 lead.
- With 50 seconds left, a Keynan Davis 3-pointer put The Citadel ahead 48-26.
Second Half:
- Sola Adebisi's steal led to a Fox fastbreak dunk, 58-28 Bulldogs.
- Moore's bucket ballooned the margin to 35, 75-40, at the 10:53 mark.
- Dante Kearse would get in on the three-ball barrage, part of the freshman's nine-point night, to extend the differential to 42, 88-46, with just under six minutes remaining.
