Weekend Baseball
The Citadel opens up the 2024 season Feb. 16-18 as the Bulldogs welcome St. Bonaventure to Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park. The season opener is set for 3 p.m.
 
Weekend Weather
Temperatures are expected to be in the 60s for most of the weekend, with a chance of rain on Saturday.

This weekend's games against St. Bonaventure will be streamed live on ESPN+.
 
Ticket Information
Tickets for all home games are available on CitadelSports.com/tickets or by calling the box office at 843-953-DOGS. Tickets will also be available at the stadium box office starting one hour before the first pitch.

The Bulldogs and the Bonnies will meet for the first time in program history.
 
Opening Weekend at The Joe
This season marks the 18th straight season. The Bulldogs have opened the season inside Riley Park. The Citadel is 10-7 in the season opener in the previous 17 seasons.
 
Opening vs. the A-10
The season-opening series against St. Bonaventure marks the third time in program history that the Bulldogs have opened up the season against an Atlantic 10 team. The Bulldogs faced George Mason in a preseason tournament in 2013 and 2018.

The Citadel is 30-29 in season openers dating back to 1965.
 
Reeves in the Middle
Sawyer Reeves returns to shortstop as the Bulldogs, starting in all 54 games during the 2023 season. The SoCon Media Association selected Reeves to the Southern Conference All-Conference Second Team.
 
Lott Returns Behind the Dish
Travis Lott returns for his fifth season as a Bulldog. The graduate student started in all 54 games for the Bulldogs. Lott batted .321 with 60 hits, ten doubles, five home runs and 32 RBIs.
 
Slemp Named Opening Day Starter
Junior right-handed pitcher Landon Slemp was named the opening-day starter for the Bulldogs.
 
Trio of Bulldogs Named to Preseason All-Southern Conference Team
Sam Swygert, Will Holmes, and Sawyer Reeves were all selected to the Preseason All-SoCon First Team.
 
On Deck
The Bulldogs head to Charleston Southern for a mid-week game on Feb. 20. First pitch is at 3 p.m.
