AUBURN, AL - The Citadel men's tennis team won their 3-doubles match and
Hayden Shoemake took the #105 ranked singles player to a super tiebreaker before the Bulldogs fell to the now 6-2 Auburn Tigers on Sunday evening.

- Noah Van Dyke / Lucas Robins won convincingly at 3-doubles, 6-2, but The Citadel lost the point falling 1-6 and 4-6 respectively at the top two flights.
- The Tigers clinched the match after taking six, two and four singles in that order, all in straight sets.
- Shoemake had the Bulldogs singles match of the day. He dropped the first set 4-6 but answered by winning the second set 7-6 (11-9) in a tiebreak. With the match clinched, the pair went to a third set super tiebreaker that the 105th ranked ITA Division I singles player from Auburn won 10-2.
