CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel used a four-run eighth inning in game two of a doubleheader against Harvard to even the series and force a rubber match inside Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park.

Game One

How It Happened

The Crimson got on the board first with two RBI singles in the second inning to make 2-0.
An RBI single from Harvard in the seventh inning made it a 3-0 ballgame.
Thomas Rollauer ripped a two-RBI double to right center field that scored Sawyer Reeves and Travis Elliott to make it a one-run game in the bottom of the eighth inning.
Travis Lott tied the game with an RBI ground out to make it 3-3.
The Crimson scored one run in the top of the tenth inning to make it 4-3; Thomas Rollauer flew out to the wall to end the game.

Harvard took advantage of a fielding error committed by The Citadel, scoring a run to make it 6-3.
An RBI double by Harvard in the fourth inning created a four-run lead at 7-3.
The Citadel scored three runs in the bottom of the third inning. Travis Elliott scored on a wild pitch, and RBI doubles from Thomas Rollauer and Travis Lott narrowed the lead to just one at 7-6.
Jake Berger from Harvard ripped a single to right field, scoring one.
The Citadel used a four-run eighth inning to propel them to a game-two victory.
Lott had an infield single that scored Rollauer, and Javier Crespo followed up with a single that scored Tyler Christmas.
Phillips Daniels reached on a throwing error committed by the Crimson, and Aryan Patel scored on the error.
Elliott drew a bases-loaded walk, which gave The Citadel a 10-8 lead heading into the ninth.
