Bulldogs Even Series Against the Crimson to Force Rubber Match

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel used a four-run eighth inning in game two of a doubleheader against Harvard to even the series and force a rubber match inside Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park.

How It Happened
  • The Crimson got on the board first with two RBI singles in the second inning to make 2-0.
  • An RBI single from Harvard in the seventh inning made it a 3-0 ballgame.
  • Thomas Rollauer ripped a two-RBI double to right center field that scored Sawyer Reeves and Travis Elliott to make it a one-run game in the bottom of the eighth inning.
  • Travis Lott tied the game with an RBI ground out to make it 3-3.
  • The Crimson scored one run in the top of the tenth inning to make it 4-3; Thomas Rollauer flew out to the wall to end the game.

  • The Citadel used a four-run eighth inning to propel them to a game-two victory.
