How It Happened

Kyle Riesselmann for the Catamounts doubled down the right field line, scoring the game's first run in the top of the fifth inning.
Trent Turner followed up Riesselmann with a two-run RBI double to make 3-0.
Chase Loggins recorded an RBI single to right field, scoring Travis Lott for the Bulldog's first run of the game.
The Citadel scored a run in the bottom of the fifth on a bases-loaded groundout from Thomas Rollauer.
The Catamounts tabbed another three-run inning in the sixth, enough to hold off the Bulldogs to win the game at 6-2.

Ben Hutchins (3-3) picked up the loss for the Bulldogs on 5.0 innings pitched on zero earned with five hits.
