Bulldogs Bash Spartans in Run-Rule Victory, Even Series with USC Upstate

CHARLESTON, S.C. – Bolstered by a strong start from Landon Slemp along with a monumental hitting performance from Garrett Dill, The Citadel (16-17) put together an all-around solid showing throughout game two of a three-contest weekend clash against USC Upstate, pulling even with the Spartans on the series behind a 12-2 run-rule victory Saturday afternoon at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park.

  • Dill rattled off five RBIs on a clean 2-of-3 day at the plate, notably homering over the left field wall during the fourth to secure a six-run spot for the inning
