CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel men's and women's cross country teams head to Spartanburg, S.C., for the USC Upstate Invitational on Oct. 18.

The women's 5K will begin at 9 am, with the men's 8K to follow at 9:45 am.

Carson Diggs was the top finisher for the Bulldogs at the Royals Challenge, finishing 12th overall with a time of 26:16.23. Brylee Deering led the women's side as she placed 22nd overall with a time of 20:16.60, followed by Caroline Plummer at 20:52.82 and Abigail Thiessen at 20:26.77.
