CHARLESTON, S.C. – Strong pitching in the late innings allows The Citadel to take a 4-2 victory over Presbyterian College on Tuesday afternoon inside Joe Riley Park.

How It Happened
- The Citadel got on the board first from an RBI ground out from Garrett Dill, scoring Travis Elliott in the first inning.
- Presbyterian returned the favor in the top of the second when the Bulldogs committed a fielding error, allowing two runners to score for the Blue Hose to make it 2-1.
- TJ Anderson evened the game at 2-2 with an RBI single up the middle, allowing Garrett Fulmer to score in the fourth inning
- The Citadel regained the lead in the bottom of the fifth when the Bulldogs attempted a double steal, which led to a throwing error committed by the catcher of Presbyterian to make it 3-2.
- Thomas Rollauer recorded an RBI ground out, allowing Robbie Lane to score and give the Bulldogs a two-run lead in the seventh innings.
- Strong pitching from Oliver Wood, Zane Davis, and Anthony Hausner in the late innings allowed The Citadel to shut the door in Presbyterian and take the 4-2 win.
