Garrett Dill, The Citadel (7-4) came back from down one run on a pair of occasions to oust Yale (3-3) in the series finale of the three-game slate, earning the program's first sweep of the season off a 6-2 victory Sunday afternoon at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park.

How It Happened
- Yale initially took the lead during the third inning, logging a solo homer for a 1-0 advantage
- Dill responded with an RBI single in the sixth to knot the game at 1-1, scoring Travis Elliott from third
- In the seventh, the visiting Bulldogs managed to quickly retake their lead on an RBI infield out, jumping up 2-1
- With two outs and Lively standing on third, Lane drove a pitch straight up the middle for an RBI, tying the game once again at 2-2
- An Elliott hit-by-pitch set up Lane at second, allowing Daniels to push The Citadel ahead of the first time on an RBI single down the right-field line
- Dill followed up with his second RBI single of the day, this time rocketing a ball into left to bring home Elliott
- A bases loaded situation gifted the Bulldogs with a couple of insurance runs with both Elliott and Daniels earning RBI walks

- Ben Brash pitched a strong start for The Citadel on the mound, surrendering just two runs on seven hits across 6.0 innings of action
- Andrew Stanley (1-1) took over for 2.0 frames en route to his first win of the year, giving up just one hit with two strikeouts; Chandler Anderson stepped in for the final inning, facing just three batters and setting down one on strikes to clinch the W
