COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Citadel's men's and women's track and field teams achieved multiple top-ten finishes, and Ali Ruffin won the javelin event at the Weems Baskin Invitational.
 
On the Men's Side

• Bradlee Jones qualified 2nd in the 100 with a PR of 10.42 to earn the second all-time spot. He then finished sixth overall with 10.56 in the finals.
• Ridge Dowe was fourth in the hammer with a PR of 164-10 to earn the eighth spot. He was also sixth in the shot with a PR of 46-10.76. He finished the day in ninth in the discus with 134-6.
• Will Owens was seventh in the hammer with a PR of 147-8.
• Jack Weil had a PR of 141-8 to take eighth in the hammer. He also was ninth in the javelin with a PR of 173-6.
• Jack Scott was third in the vault with 4–1.25.
• Owen Sharnas was sixth in the 5k with 15:53.26.

 
On the Women's Side

• Ali Ruffin won the Javelin with a toss of 145-6.
• Sadie Grover was sixth in the javelin with 112-1.
• Sam Barnes was seventh in the javelin with 100-9, and Ainsley Dowling was eighth with 91-10.
• Emily Danielsson was third in the hammer with 143-0. She then had a PR in the shot with 37-3.75 to take ninth.
• Riley Lair had a PR in the hammer with 140-11 to take fifth.
• Ellie Belcher was tenth in the 1500 with 5:09.02.
