CHARLESTON, S.C. -- Starting with a initial return broadcast on Monday, Aug. 25, The Citadel Athletics proudly reestablishes the department's weekly one-hour radio show Beyond the Barracks on 102.1 THE CITY, a program aimed at featuring a variety of guests including many of the institution's head coaches, notable alumni and key staff members every Monday evening between 6 - 7 pm ET at varying local establishments around and within the greater-Charleston area.

Brian Giffin, 'The Voice of the Bulldogs,' will serve as the show's on-air host while Over the Horizon Brewing will act as the primary location throughout football season. For any who are unable to attend or miss the live broadcast, a complete audio podcast of each episode will be distributed for free via Spotify, Amazon, Apple and YouTube.

Headlining the fall slate, football head coach Maurice Drayton and multiple members of his coaching and support staff will join Beyond the Barracks for updates on the team as the 2025 campaign progresses. A number of Drayton's fellow head coaches at The Citadel are also scheduled to appear with updates and notable news from their respective sports, including first-year Director of Athletics Art Chase, volleyball head coach Dave Zelenock, women's soccer head coach Ciaran Traquair, baseball head coach Russell Triplett, head men's basketball coach Ed Conroy and even track & field head coach Kris Kut with a spotlight on The Citadel Athletics Hall of Fame, to name a few.
