9/22/2025 11:00:00 AM

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel men's basketball program officially released the program's complete 2025-26 season schedule Monday morning, starting off the Bulldogs with a 13-game non-conference slate beginning on Monday, Nov. 3 before the team dives into an 18-contest Southern Conference battle royale, opening league play against ETSU on New Year's Eve.

The Citadel tips off the campaign with a home clash against Erksine on Nov. 3 before jumping right into the fire with a road test at Boston College on Nov. 6. After a quick return trip home for a local rivalry matchup against Charleston Southern on Nov. 10, the Bulldogs head inland to face off with West Georgia on Nov. 14. Less than a week later, The Citadel launches the start of a three-game home stretch, initially battling North Greenville (Nov. 19) before hosting an MTE featuring both Bellarmine (Nov. 24) and Houston Christian (Nov. 26).

Following the Thanksgiving break, the Bulldogs trek into North Carolina for a two-game stint, initially squaring off against Presbyterian on Nov. 30 in a neutral-site clash at the Civic Center in Asheville, N.C., before matching wits with Davidson to open the month of December on Dec. 4. The Citadel recharges with one final home game against Southern Wesleyan on Dec. 9 before closing out the non-conference slate with a three-contest run at South Carolina (Dec. 13), College of Charleston (Dec. 17) and Richmond (Dec. 20).

"We are excited and looking forward to our non-conference schedule and the opportunities it will present," head coach Ed Conroy said. "Our series with Boston College with continue with an opening week game, and then we clash with Presbyterian in a unique neutral-site opportunity in Asheville at the Civic Center, giving us a game at the site of our SoCon Championship.

"December will certainly serve as a month of opportunities for the program as we take on several  former SoCon rivals on the road, including College of Charleston, Davidson, South Carolina and Richmond. These traditional rivals have certainly invested in this new era of basketball making for an exciting month for our fans and team alike. Our non conference will no doubt get us ready for the always-challenging league play."
