GREENVILLE, S.C. -- The South Carolina Football Hall of Fame (SCFHOF) opened the final round of online voting for their Class of 2025 the afternoon of Tuesday, Jan. 6, notably featuring The Citadel standout Jack Douglas, '92 as one of the 29 nominees comprised of a slew of key players and coaches influential upon the state's robust football culture.
Each nominee was either born, grew up, played in South Carolina, coached at one of the state's collegiate football programs or made a significant positive impact on football in South Carolina.
Voting is available online at
scfootballhof.org and is open to everyone. The final round of voting period runs through Jan. 30, 2026, allowing SCFHOF supporting members, football fans and media outlets to vote for up to four (4) modern era nominees and one (1) legacy finalist from the provided ballot for the Class of 2024.
The Class of 2025 will be enshrined at the organization's 13th Annual Enshrinement Ceremony on April 16, 2026, at Hotel Hartness in Greenville, S.C.

Quarterbacked one of The Citadel's most successful teams ever as the Bulldogs were ranked tied for No. 1 in the final NCAA I-AA poll in 1992 … was the all-time leading rushing quarterback in I-AA football with 3,674 career yards … led The Citadel to memorable upsets over South Carolina (1990), Arkansas (1992), Army (1991 & '92) and to the school's second-ever Southern Conference championship in 1992 … was selected the South Carolina Male Amateur Athlete of the Year and South Carolina Offensive Player of the Year … served as co-captain for the 1991 and 1992 seasons … his jersey No. 14 was retired … continues to hold many of The Citadel's career offensive records ... was inducted into the South Carolina Athletic Hall of Fame in 2007.
