CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel (8-9) will travel to Athens, Ga., to face the No. 7 Georgia Bulldogs (17-4) on March 17, with the first pitch scheduled for 3 p.m. Then, the Bulldogs will host the No. 19 Clemson Tigers (16-4) on March 18 at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park at 7 p.m.

MUSC lot costs $10, cash only. Parking on the grass is not allowed. Gates open at 5:30.

Mostly sunny skies are expected in Athens on Tuesday, March 17. Breezy conditions in the morning will calm down by the afternoon. The high is forecast near 50 degrees. Partly sunny skies are expected in Charleston on Wednesday, March 18. Temperatures will reach the mid-50s during the afternoon before falling to the low 40s overnight. Light winds and mostly dry conditions are expected throughout the day.

Bulldogs Take the Series
The Citadel swept the series against UT-Martin over the weekend, winning both Saturday and Sunday's games against the Skyhawks. They scored an impressive 22 runs on 20 hits Saturday, tying the most since 2022, when The Citadel scored 22 runs against VMI.
 
The Citadel's 14-run seventh inning broke the school's record for the most runs scored in a single inning, surpassing the previous record of 13 set in 1996 against Wofford.
 
Have a Day, Pat
Aryan Patel recorded a career-high five hits in the 22-3 win over UT-Martin. Patel joins Thomas Rollauer as the last Bulldog to have five hits in a game when Rollauer hit five against LIU in 2023.
 
On Deck
The Citadel begins conference play on the road against the Mercer Bears from March 20-22.
