He hit a home run against Georgia Southern on April 22, then followed up with a six-hit weekend against UNCG, going 2-for-3 with a double in a 2-1 win on April 24 and 3-for-4 with a double in a 10-1 win on April 25.
 
Gibson earned his team-leading fifth save of the season on April 24 against the Spartans, good for second in the SoCon. He pitched 2.1 innings, allowing three hits and one walk, with zero unearned runs and five strikeouts.

The Bulldogs took two of three against the Spartans this past weekend, marking their second conference series win this season.

The Citadel has tallied 93 stolen bases this season, ranking third in the SoCon. Jayden Williams leads the team with 19 stolen bases, followed by Lane Tobin with 14, Matthew Lively and Aryan Patel with 12, and TJ Anderson with 10.
