CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel track & field team has opted to withdraw from the competition field at the East Coast Relays, a two-day meet slated for May 1-2 in Jacksonville, Fla.

"The schedule change gives us more time to prepare, sharpen a few things and make sure we're ready to compete at a high level next later in the month," head coach Kris Kut said. "We're excited to turn our full attention to the Southern Conference Championships."

The Bulldogs turn their attention to the upcoming 2026 Southern Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships, scheduled for May 11-12 in Cullowhee, N.C. The meet will be hosted by Western Carolina.
