2021 All-Southern Conference Freshman Team
2024: Played in all 12 games…third on team with 16 receptions…led team with 19.3 yards per catch…recorded a catch in nine of 12 games played…caught three receptions of 40+ yards, including a season-high 45-yard reception against Wofford…scored a receiving touchdown against VMI and ETSU…tallied a season-high 78 receiving yards against VMI…caught three catches for 35 yards against Western Carolina…had five games with multiple receptions.
2023: Played in all 11 games...hauled in 21 catches for a team-best 210 yards with a long of 29...caught two passes for 18 yards against Campbell...recorded one catch for 13 yards at Chattanooga...pulled down two passes for 16 yards at South Carolina State...caught two passes for nine yards against Western Carolina...recorded three catches for 24 yards at Furman...had three catches for 28 yards at Samford...caught a season-high five passes for a season-best 54 yards, including one for 29 yards, against Mercer...had one catch for 12 yards against Wofford...pulled down two passes for 36 yards at ETSU.
2022: Saw time in four games…hauled in 10 passes for 146 yards and two scores…caught two passes for 30 yards with a touchdown at Campbell…notched three catches for 42 yards and a score against ETSU…had two catches for 19 yards at Mercer…posted three receptions for 55 yards at VMI.
2021: Appeared in all 11 games, making four starts…finished with 12 catches for 240 yards and one touchdown…hauled in 34-yard pass against VMI…had 44-yard reception against Western Carolina…caught season-high five passes for 82 yards, including 48-yard touchdown, against Mercer…followed it up with four catches for 73 yards against Samford.
2020-21: Appeared in one game…saw action against Clemson.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played for head coach Jeff Tate at Wren High School…earned 4A All-State honors as a senior after catching 84 passes for 1443 and 27 touchdowns…helped Hurricanes to upper-state and state championships…garnered all-region honors as a junior after posting 75 catches for 1,012 yards and 11 touchdowns…rushed 99 times for 560 yards and eight touchdowns as a sophomore, earning all-region accolades at running back…rated a two-star prospect by Rivals.com and 247Sports.com.
PERSONAL: Son of Corey and Candice Cherry…plans to major in business management.
