2019:
Started all 11 games in which he appeared…rushed 240 times for 900 yards and 17 touchdowns…went 62-for-122 for 1,114 yards and 13 touchdowns…set a new program record for touchdowns accounted for in a season…became just second quarterback to rush for and pass for at least 10 touchdowns in a season…first quarterback to throw for over 1,000 yards since 2008…threw for and rushed for a touchdown in eight games…carried 33 times for 169 yards and a touchdown in the season opener against Towson…rushed for three touchdowns and threw for another against Elon…ran for 70 yards and a touchdown, and threw a 30-yard touchdown pass in the victory over Georgia Tech…scored  three rushing touchdowns and threw for 196 yards and two touchdowns against Samford…threw for a career-high 233 yards against VMI…tossed a career-best three touchdown passes, while rushing for two more, in a victory over Western Carolina…posted back-to-back 100-yard rushing performances with 165 yards against Furman and 120 yards against Mercer…added over 100-yards passing in each of the last three games.

2018: Appeared in the final four games of the season…ran 93 times for 539 yards and three touchdowns…went 8-for-15 for 168 yards and two touchdowns…rushed for 188 yards and a touchdown in first start against Western Carolina…followed it up with 217 yards and a touchdown against Samford…also went 5-for-7 for 88 yards and a score…set new two-game rushing mark for a QB with 405 yards in first two starts…gained 79 yards on the ground at Alabama…threw for 80 yards and a touchdown, while also rushing for 45 yards and a score in the season finale against Charleston Southern.

2017: Named to Southern Conference All-Freshman team…appeared in 10 games…was fourth on the team with 505 rushing yards…made 119 attempts and scored a pair of touchdowns…added 14 yards and one touchdown receiving…had a season-high 125 rushing yards on 16 carries in the win over VMI, including a season-long run of 28 yards…ran for 70 yards on 17 attempts, and had a receiving touchdown of 14 yards in the second game of the season at Presbyterian …rushed for 52 yards and a touchdown on 11 career at ETSU…followed it up by rushing for 59 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries against Samford…rushed for 60 yards on 17 attempts against Western Carolina).

2016: Sat out the season as a red-shirt.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned three letters in football…helped lead Allatoona to thw 2015 Georgia AAAAA state championship and 14-1 overall record…named Region 5AAAAA Most Outstanding Player, Cobb County Player of the Year and honorable mention all-state…scored school-record seven touchdowns in state quarterfinal game and scored team’s only touchdown in 10-6 win in state championship game…spent junior season at wide receiver as Buccaneers finished with undefeated regular season, region championship and semifinal round of state playoffs…aAlso lettered in baseball…earned honorable mention all-region recognition and helped lead team to state semifinals…named scholar-athlete.

PERSONAL: Son of Jason and Stephanie Rainey…graduated in May, 2019 with a degree in business administration…finishing up master’s in business administration.
