Aaron Pray joined The Citadel football coaching staff as an Assistant Coach / Running Backs in Spring 2026.
Prior to taking the position with the Bulldogs, Pray worked for the past year as an offensive-focused assistant at West Georgia, primarily aiding the development of both wide receivers and running backs.
Previously, he served as the special teams coordinator (2025), running backs assistant / run game coordinator (2023-24) and wide receivers coach / pass game coordinator (2022) over a four-year stint at Maret School in Washington, D.C.
Pray started at running back while handling both kickoff and punt return duties for four seasons (2018-2021) at McDaniel College, notably leading the program in all-purpose yards during the 2019 campaign. He initially earned his first varsity letter at Washington & Jefferson College in 2017.
Pray secured his degree in business administration from McDaniel College in 2021.
