Devin Myers joined The Citadel football coaching staff as an Assistant Coach / Offensive Line in Spring 2026.
Previously, Myers served as the offensive line coach and run game coordinator for the past two seasons at West Alabama following a five-year stint with the Tigers as the O-Line assistant from 2018-22. For the three seasons between those roles, he taught physical education while acting as the head wrestling and assistant football coach at Prattville High School.
Â
Prior to joining the West Alabama staff full-time in 2018, Myers tallied two years as a graduate assistant, primarily working with tight ends and offensive linemen.
Â
Myers competed for two years as a starting offensive guard for the Tigers, helping lead the team to a 17-7 record, an NCAA Playoff appearance and back-to-back Gulf South Conference titles in 2012 and 2013. The UWA offense scored 75 touchdowns and averaged 539.1 yards per game during that same stretch.
Â
Additionally, he started for two seasons at Foothill Community College before transferring to West Alabama. He was a first-team All-Nor-Cal Conference player, a 2012 Rivals / JC Gridiron top 10 recruit and a two-year team captain.
Â
Myers earned his Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2016 before securing his Master of Arts in Physical Education a year later, both courtesy of the University of West Alabama.
