After helping lead The Citadel to a pair of Southern Conference championships, Dominique Allen enters his third season on staff for the Bulldogs. Allen will serve as an offensive quality control assistant after working with the A-Backs the last two seasons.

In his one season working with the A-Backs, Allen worked with a group that had five different back score rushing touchdowns. Cooper Wallace led all backs with 409 yards, while Wallace and freshman Johnny Crawford III each had a team-high three rushing touchdowns.

Allen originally joined the staff prior to the Spring 2021 season where he assisted the offensive coordinator with the quarterbacks and B-Backs, before taking over with the A-Backs.

Allen was a three-year starting quarterback for the Bulldogs, leading them to back-to-back SoCon championships in 2015 and 2016. He guided the Bulldogs to a perfect 8-0 record in conference play, and 10-straight victories to start the season.

In 2015, Allen rushed for 953 yards and 13 touchdowns, while throwing for 871 yards and four touchdowns. He engineered one of the biggest victories in recent years with a 23-22 victory over South Carolina in the final game of the 2015 season.

Allen ranks 10th on the school’s all-time list with 493 rushing attempts, while ranking fifth all-time in rushing touchdowns with 28.

Allen graduated from The Citadel in 2018 with a degree in business administration, before going on to earn his MBA from The Citadel.
