The Citadel Athletics

Shane Mahoney joined The Citadel football program as a special teams quality control analyst in May 2024, and later received a promotion to graduate assistant ahead of the 2026 campaign.

For the 2024 and 2025 seasons, Mahoney assisted with opponent and self-scouting via a variety of statistical analysis tools, developing a multi-session tracking workbook utilized by both staff and players alike.

Mahoney graduated from The Citadel in May 2026 with a degree in business administration and a focus in supply chain management.
