2009: Played in 10 of 11 games … recorded one solo tackle at No. 21 North Carolina … finished three consecutive games with three total tackles, against Presbyterian, No. 10 Appalachian State and at No. 10 Elon … finished the season with eight solo and six assisted tackles for a total of 14.

High School: Graduated from North Marion High School in 2008 … lettered in football, basketball and weightlifting … earned D-Lineman All-Area honors, third team All-State honors and holds the Marion County single-season/career sack record … during senior season recorded 125 tackles, 16 sacks, 22 tackles for loss, forced three fumbles and recovered one fumble.
