HIGH SCHOOL: Two-year letterwinner at Niceville…graduated Cum Laude…earned the U.S. Army Reserve National Scholar-Athlete Award as a senior…picked up Northwest Florida Daily News All-Area Second-Team honors…named the Twin Cities and WEAH Channel 3 News Scholar Athlete of the Week…helped lead Niceville to the 6A Football District Championship crown as a junior…tabbed to the Northwest Florida Daily News All-Area First Team…earned New Fish Radio Scholar Athlete Award as a junior…also a member of the track and field and weightlifting teams, earning two varsity letters in track and field and one in weightlifting…was a 2A state qualifier in weightlifting…helped the track and field team claim the District 3A championship in both 2016 and 2017…member of the National Honor Society, National Honor Society of High School Scholars.

PERSONAL: Son of Don and Kim-Anh Brechtel…mother played softball at Eastern State College…sister, Aja, played softball at Army West Point…majoring in political science.
