PERSONAL: Son of Sandra and Olindo Mare...father, Olindo, competed for five different franchises -- Miami Dolphins, New Orleans Saints, Seattle Seahawks, Carolina Panthers and Chicago Bears -- within the NFL across 17 seasons at kicker, earning first-team All-Pro honors in 1999 as well as a ticket to the Pro Bowl.
