CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel wrestling team makes its final appearance at McAlister Field House this season on Wednesday at 7 p.m. when it hosts Southern Conference foe Davidson.
 
The match will also serve as senior night for Daniel Bankemper, Jack Duane, Aaron Hansen, Jared Hemmings, Richard Hicks, Joaquin Marquez and Kenneth Radford.
 
The Bulldogs enter the meeting with the Wildcats at 6-5 overall and 4-2 in league competition. The Citadel enters the match in third place in the SoCon standings behind Chattanooga (6-0) and Appalachian State (4-1).
 
In their last competition, the Bulldogs earned six top four finishes, including first place showings by Ty Buckiso (141) and Matt Frisch (149), as it brought home fourth overall in this weekend's All-Academy Championships at O'Hara Hall on the Merchant Marine Academy campus.
 
Among the other top four finishers for the Bulldogs included Joaquin Marquez (2nd-125), Marshall Haas (2nd-197), Joe Bexley (3rd-Heavyweight) and Clarence Arrington (4th-133).
 
The Davidson wrestling team recently won a pair of home contests, defeating SoCon foe Campbell, 36-6, and Coker, 22-18 on Sunday at Belk Arena. Davidson improved to 6-13 overall and 1-4 in conference action.
