
Johnson Takes First Place in Military 100M

COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Citadel track and field teams competed in the final day of the Weems Baskin Invitational on Saturday.
Freshman Jessy Page took fourth place in the discus for the women's team with a toss of 131 feet, 6 inches. Sophomore Kameron Cass placed fourth in the shot put in Group B with a toss of 37-6.75.
For the men's team, sophomore Josiah Johnson won first place in the military 100-meter dash with a time of 10.93 seconds. Junior Dee Delaney also took second place in the same race in 11.17 seconds.
Senior Mitchell Noel placed second in Group B for the high jump with a leap of 6-4, and senior Jackson Nosbisch took sixth place in the high jump with a 6-4 leap.
Next on the schedule, the Bulldogs will travel to Greenville, North Carolina, to compete in East Carolina's Invitational on April 7 and 8. Full meet results will be available at CitadelSports.com.
