Inside The Numbers
116: - Wide receiver Raleigh Webb caught eight passes for a career-high 116 yards against ETSU. It was the first 100-yard receiving performance since Matt Thompson had 132 yards against Appalachian State in 2012.
55 - The Bulldogs held ETSU to just 55 yards rushing. The Bucs entered Saturday's game averaging 153.5 yards per game. It was the second time this season the Bulldogs held an opponent to less than 100 rushing yards.
23 - Jordan Black's 23 pass attempts were the most for a Bulldog quarterback since Tommy Edwards threw the ball 38 times against Georgia Southern on Nov. 21, 2009.
18.3 - The Bulldogs are outscoring the Keydets by an average of 18.3 points during the current 11-game win streak. Only three games have been decided by single digits. The streak also includes a 70-28 victory in Lexington in 2007.
11 - The Bulldogs are currently on an 11-game win streak in the Military Classic of the South. It is the longest such streak in the series.

On This Date
In 1990, quarterback Jack Douglas scored on 4th-and-goal from the one to give the Bulldogs a 38-35 victory over South Carolina. Douglas finished the game with 104 yards rushing and 125 through the air. The victory was the first over the Gamecocks since 1950, and the first in Columbia since 1919.

The Game
The Bulldogs hit the road for the Military Classic of the South as they travel to face VMI on Oct. 20. Kickoff is set for 1:30 p.m.

All games this season can be hear live on 92.1-FM/102.1-FM/1450-AM in the Charleston. The new voice of the Bulldogs, Luke Mauro, will be joined by Cal McCombs in the booth and Jay Harper on the sideline.

Saturday's game will be the second-straight game broadcast on ESPN3 this season.

The forecast is calling for temperatures to be around 60 degrees with a chance of rain.


vs. VMI
The Bulldogs and Keydets are meeting for the 74th time with The Citadel holding a 41-30-2 advantage in the all-time series. The Bulldogs have won 11-straight games in the series.


Battle for the Silver Shako
Saturday's contest is the 74th battle of the Military Classic of the South and the Battle for the Silver Shako. The current trophy was introduced to the series in 1976. The Bulldogs have won each of the last 11 meetings.


Going to the Air
The Bulldogs went to the air early against ETSU as they passed for 125 of their 188 passing yards in the first half. It was the most passing yards this season. Jordan Black finished the game 15-of-23 for 188 yards. It was the most attempts and completions in a game since Tommy Edwards went 23-of-38 against Georgia Southern on Nov. 21, 2009.


100-Yard Receiver
Wide receiver Raleigh Webb caught eight passes for 116 yards against ETSU. It was the first 100-yard receiving performance since Matt Thompson had 123 receiving yards against Appalachian State in 2012.


Eight Catches
Raleigh Webb's eight catches against ETSU marked the most since Darien Robinson had eight catches against Samford on Nov. 2, 2013.


Outgain Opponent on Ground and Air
The Bulldogs outgained ETSU on the ground and in the air. They won the battle on the ground, 203-55, and in the air, 188-169. It was the first time they won both battles since the game against Mercer in 2017. In that game, The Citadel won the rush battle, 201-200, and the passing battle, 180-111.


Harris Finds the End Zone
Freshman Clay Harris found the end zone for the first time in his career when he scored from three-yards out in the fourth quarter against ETSU. He became the fifth different Bulldog to score a rushing touchdown this season.


Profit Makes First Catches
Dijon Profit answered the call when his name was called against ETSU as he hauled in three passes for 39 yards. The catches were the first of his career.

The Bulldogs return to Johnson Hagood Stadium on Oct. 27 as they play host to Furman. First pitch is set for 2 p.m.
