Inside The Numbers
91 - Jordan Black connected on a 91-yard touchdown pass to Raleigh Webb in the third quarter against Furman. The pass was the longest in program history, besting the old record of 84 yards set in 1983.
44 - Kicker Jacob Godek connected on a 44-yard field goal in the first quarter against Furman. It is the second 44-yard field goals made by Godek this season. He has made seven-straight field goals after missing his first one of the season.
43.4 - Punter Matthew Campbell is currently averaging 43.4 yards per punt. It currently ranks second on The Citadel's all-time single-season average list.
13 - The point differential through the first six Southern Conference games is just 13 points. Five of the six games were one possession games with three of the games decided by three points or less.
12.5 - Joseph Randolph, II leads the Bulldogs, and the Southern Conference, with 12.5 tackles-for-loss. The junior has at least one tackle-for-loss in each of the last six games, including a season-high 3.0 tackles-for-loss against Furman.

On This Date
In 2001, Nick Haas kicked 38-yard field l goal in the second overtime to give The Citadel a, 20-17, road victory over Chattanooga.  On the Mocs possession in the second overtime, Kevin Corley intercepted a pass to secure the victory. The interception was just part of a big day for Corley as he finished with 12 tackles, two interceptions and four pass break-ups.

The Bulldogs hit the road for a conference contest at Western Carolina. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m.

Radio Coverage
All games this season can be heard live on 92.1-FM/102.1-FM/1450-AM in the Charleston. The new voice of the Bulldogs, Luke Mauro, will be joined by Cal McCombs in the booth and Jay Harper on the sideline.

Saturday's game will be broadcast on ESPN+. Daniel Hooker will have the call alongside Dan Gibson and Summer McMahan.

The forecast is calling for temperatures to be around 60 degrees with a slight chance of rain.


vs. Western Carolina
The Bulldogs and Catamounts are meeting for the 43rd time on the gridiron with The Citadel holding a 24-17-1 advantage in the all-time series. The Bulldogs have won six of the last eight meetings, and three of the last four played in Cullowhee.


Longest Pass Play
Jordan Black and Raleigh Webb connected on a 91-yard touchdown against Furman. It was the longest pass play in school history, besting the 84-yard pass from Lee Glaze to John Murphy against Davidson in 1983.


McCarthy Makes First Catches
Redshirt freshman Ryan McCarthy got the start at wide receiver against Furman and caught three passes for 27 yards. It was the first catches of his career.


Randolph in the Backfield
Joseph Randolph, II has been playing on the other side of the line of scrimmage in recent weeks. The junior had three tackles-for-loss against Furman and now has 12.5 on the season, leading the team and the Southern Conference.


Eubanks Makes 13 Stops
Willie Eubanks III recorded 13 tackles against Furman. It was the most tackles since Kailik Williams had 14 tackles against Gardner-Webb on Sept. 17, 2016.


Seven-Straight For Godek
Kicker Jacob Godek connected on a 44-yard field goal in the first quarter against Furman. It was his second 44-yard field goal of the season. Godek has now made seven-straight field goals after missing his first attempt of the season.


Down at the One
Freshman punter Matthew Campbell had two of his five punts against Furman downed at the one-yard line. He averaged 43.4 yards on his seven punts, with five of them downed inside the 20-yard line.

The Bulldogs welcome Samford to Johnson Hagood Stadium for Homecoming on Nov. 10. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m.
