  • Quarterback Brandon Rainey is averaging 161.3 rushing yards over that three-game span. He has also scored a pair of touchdowns.
  • The Bucs have won two games in a row, outscoring their opponents 28-7 over that span. The offense has only two scored two touchdowns in the last two games, both gaming in the win over Gardner-Webb two weeks ago.

Inside The Numbers
275 - The Bulldogs rushed for 275 yards against Alabama. It is the most by any team this season and the most since Ohio State ran for 281 yards in the national semifinals on Jan. 1, 2015.
130 - A-Back Dante Smith ran for a career-high 130 yards and two touchdowns on just nine carries. It is the most yards against Alabama since Nick Chubb in 2015. Smith is also the first running to back to rush for over 130 yards and two touchdowns since Ezekiel Elliott in the national semifinal game.
9 - The Citadel had nine players earn all-conference honors by the league's head coaches and media members. Offensive lineman Tyler Davis and punter Matthew Campbell were unanimous first-team selections.
6 - The Bulldogs lead the Southern Conference with six blocked kicks on the season. The Citadel has blocked four punts and two extra points. Ken Allen and Sean-Thomas Faulkner have each blocked two kicks. Allen has blocked two extra points and Faulkner two punts.

On This Date
In 1924, the Bulldogs closed out the season with 13-0 victory over Presbyterian. The victory completed a 6-4 season and a 4-2 record in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Association.

The Bulldogs close out the 2018 season as they welcome Charleston Southern to Johnson Hagood Stadium for a 7 p.m. kickoff.

The game marks the final day for several Bulldog seniors. This group is part of the best four-year run in program history. The run includes back-to-back Southern Conference titles and a victory over South Carolina.


Scoring on Bama
The Bulldogs scored in the second quarter against Alabama, putting an end to a streak of 179:00 without allowing a point. The 17 points are more than seven other opponents.


Tied at the Half
The Citadel went into the locker room against Alabama tied 10-10. It marked the first time this season that any team has been within 16 points of the Crimson Tide at the half.


Most Rushing Yards vs Bama
The Bulldogs rushed for 275 yards against Alabama. It is the most by any team this season and the most since Ohio State ran for 281 in the national semifinal game on Jan. 1, 2015.


Dante's Inferno
