CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Citadel volleyball team hits the court once again, Wednesday Oct. 16 against fellow SoCon member, Wofford at 6 p.m.
#BATTLEREADY (ABOUT THE CITADEL)
The Bulldogs are 6-13 overall and 0-6 in the conference going into tomorrow's match after playing four matches in four days.
The Citadel recently went 2-2, after dropping two road conference matches to Western Carolina and ETSU, and taking down Delaware State and NCCU at home.
Freshman
Maddy Cardenas had a standout night against NCCU, recording a career-high 14 kills and finishing the match with a .778 hitting percentage. Cardenas now holds the second highest single-match hitting percentage record in Bulldog program history.
THE CITADEL VS WOFFORD (THE HISTORY)
The Citadel is 5-38 against Wofford all-time, last beating the Terriers in 2011. The Bulldogs will look to snap a 16-game losing streak to Wofford in their first meeting of the 2019 seaosn.
SCOUTING THE TERRIERS
The Terriers of Wofford come to McAlister Field House 10-10 overall and 3-3 in the SoCon. Wofford has beaten SoCon members Mercer, UNCG, and Furman, but have dropped matches to Samford, ETSU, and Western Carolina.
Wofford's offense is led by middle blocker Riley Coonan and setter Lorissa King. Coonan ranks third among to SoCon with a .330 hitting percentage, recording 157 kills over the course of this season. King averages 10.50.

The Bulldogs will have just two days before hosting a fourth home match Saturday, Oct. 19 at 4 p.m. against Chattanooga.
