Remus Bulmer was on the receiving end of two touchdown passes against WCU. Both touchdown receptions came from 17-yards out.

Brandon Rainey accounted for all five touchdowns against the Catamounts. The junior rushed for two scores and three for a career-high three scores. It marks the second time in the last three games he has accounted for five TDs in a game.

In 1968, The Citadel defeated VMI, 13-8, inside Johnson Hagood Stadium in the 28th edition of the Military Classic of the South. The victory over the Keydets began a streak of five-straight victories in the series.

Blount Earns SoCon Defensive Honor
Sophomore outside linebacker Marquise Blount was named the Southern Conference Defensive Player of the Week after his performance against Western Carolina. He finished with nine tackles, two tackles-for-loss and 1.5 sacks.
Return of Ground Game
The Bulldogs rushed for a season-high 339 yards in the victory over Western Carolina. The yardadge total bested the previous high of 332 yards set against Towson in the season opener.
Rainey Accounts for 5 TDs
Quarterback Brandon Rainey accounted for all five touchdowns in the victory over Western Carolina. The junior ran for two scores and threw for three touchdowns. The three touchdown passes are a carer high and the most for a Bulldog since 2017.
Multiple 5 TD Games
The five TD performance against Western Carolina marked the second time in three games Brandon Rainey accounte for five touchdowns. The quarterback rushed for three scores and tossed for two more at Samford.
Bulmer Catches 2 TDs
A-Back Remus Bulmer caught a pair of touchdown passes in the victory over Western Carolina. The two TDs were the first two receving touchdowns on the season and both came from 17-yards out.
Clay Harris vs. WCU
B-Back Clay Harris has enjoyed success in his two games against Western Carolina. The sophomore rushed for a career-high 154 yards against the Catamounts. Last season, Harris ran for 126 yards and two scores in his first career start at WCU.
Webb Adds to TD Total
Wide receiver Raleigh Webb added to his season total as he caught his seventh touchdown of the season against Western Carolina.

Onside Kick
The Bulldogs executed their second onside kick of the season when Jacob Godek recovered his own onside kick against Western Carolina. Godek and the Bulldogs are now 2-for-2 on inside kicks this season.
Six Sacks on Final Drive
The Bulldog defense recorded six sacks against Western Carolina. All six sacks came on the Catamounts final drive. Joseph Randolph II had sacks on back-to-back plays and Marquise Blount added 1.5 sacks on the drive.
Forcing Turnovers
The Bulldogs forced three turnovers in the second half against WCU. Willie Eubanks II forced a fumble in the third quarter, while Destin mack and Jay Howard intercepted passes in the fourth quarter.
