CHARLESTON, S.C. – Ahead of the 2019 Ingles Southern Conference Basketball Championships presented by General Shale in Asheville, North Carolina March 8 – 11, the SoCon office is hosting the Ingles SoCon Mascot Challenge.

Fans can go to InglesChallenge.com and vote for their school's mascot. Ingles will award the winning school a $1,000 scholarship to be announced at the men's championship game of this year's SoCon Basketball Tournament. Ingles will also donate another $1,000 to Hoops Against Hunger on behalf of the winning school.

As of Monday morning, Spike the Bulldog leads Wofford's Boss the Terrier by 106 votes (5,507-5,401). Western Carolina's Paws the Catamount is in third with 489 votes.
