CHARLESTON, S.C. – Sola Adebisi was named to the 2026 Southern Conference Basketball All-Tournament Second Team, per an announcement from the league office following the conclusion of the 2026 Southern Conference Basketball Championship on Monday evening.

The forward opened the championship with 26 points on 9-of-15 shooting while also posting seven rebounds, two assists and three blocks in The Citadel's first-round win over Chattanooga on Friday, March 6, notably hitting the game-winning triple with nine seconds remaining in regulation.

Adebisi followed with 23 points on 10-of-15 shooting while garnering five rebounds, four assists and a block against ETSU in a Quarterfinals loss on Saturday, March 7.

"Sola had an outstanding tournament and it's great to see him recognized," head coach Ed Conroy said. "He stepped up in big moments for us, including knocking down the game-winning three against Chattanooga, and that speaks to the confidence and trust his teammates have in him. Sola is one of the guys who chose to come back and invest in this program, and his toughness and growth throughout the year really showed in Asheville. I think the way he played in the tournament showed a lot of people he's one of the top players in this league."

Adebisi's selection marks the first SoCon All-Tournament honor for The Citadel since Hayden Brown earned second-team recognition in 2022.
