Baseball Returns Home to Face Wofford

GAME NOTES | TICKETS
CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Citadel returns to Riley Park for the first time in nearly a month as the Bulldogs welcome Wofford for a three-game series May 3-5. The series opener is set for 6:30 p.m., followed by a 6 p.m. first pitch on Saturday and a 1 p.m. start on Sunday.

Tickets for all home games are available on CitadelSports.com/tickets or by calling the box office at 843-953-DOGS. Tickets will also be available at the stadium box office starting one hour before first pitch.


Radio Broadcast
This weekend's games against Wofford can be heard live on ESPN Radio (94.7 FM & 910 AM). The voice of the Bulldogs, Luke Mauro, will have the call alongside Jay Harper.


Weekend Weather
Temperatures are expected to be near 80 degrees with a chance of rain on Friday and Saturday.


Series History vs. Wofford
The Citadel and Wofford have met 109 times prior with the Terriers holding a 57-52 advantage in the all-time series. WOF has won five-straight games in the series dating back to 2017.


Senior Day
Sunday's game will serve as Senior Day for six members of the baseball team. Alex Bialakis, Cole Buffington, Morgan Foulks, Jordan Merritt, Ben Peden and Dylan Spence will all be honored prior to the game.


Flanders Shines in Return Home
Freshman Jordan Flanders returned to his hometown of North Augusta and threw three shutout innings against No. 8 Georgia. He allowed four hits and struck out three.


Goodman Goes Deep Twice
Freshman Ches Goodman hit a pair of home runs in the series finale at UNCG. The two jacks were the first of his career. He became the first Bulldog to hit two homers in a game since Johnathan Sabo hit two home runs against ETSU on May 5, 2017.


'Dogs Tie Doubles Record
The Citadel tied the school record for doubles in a game when it collected nine against UNCG in the second game of the doubleheader. The record was originally set against Appalachian State on March 15, 1998.


Spence With the Bat
Senior Dylan Spence got his first career at-bats against UNCG when he started at designated hitter in the series opener and then played third base in the final two games. He went 2-for-4 with a RBI in the first game, before driving in two runs with a base hit in the second game.


On Deck
The 'Dogs hit the road to take on Clemson on May 8. First pitch from Doug Kingsmore Stadium is set for 6 p.m.
