COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Citadel men's and women's cross country teams each finished second at the Koala XC Classic hosted by Columbia College Saturday morning.

Men's Race
- Andrew Smith finished with a time of 25:42.6 to place 10th. The time ranks as the 10th-fastest 8K in program history.
- Will Ray ran the 24th-fastest time in program history with a time of 26:08.0. The time was good enough for 10th place.
- Ty Duben finished right behind Ray with a time of 26:13.5.
- Devon Heisler and Bryce Baglia also finished in the top 20. Heisler placed 16th with a time of 27:07.6 and Baglia was 18th with a time of 27:21.1.
- Freshman Robert Perrecone placed 22nd with a time 27:40.3
Women's Race
- The Bulldog women placed four runners in the Top 10.
- Heidi Fortin ran the second-fastest 6K in program history to finish third with a time of 22:54.3.
- Gabby Shea also set a personal best as she ran a 23:55.9, the 10th fastest time in school history.
- Shea was the first of three-straight finishes for the Bulldogs. She was followed by Casey Miller (23:58.1) and Grace Wolfe with a personal-best time of 23:58.8.
- Amber Opp was the fifth score for the Bulldogs, placing 15th with a time of 24:41.9.
