CHARLESTON, S.C. – Thursday's women's soccer match between The Citadel and Mercer has been moved up from 3 p.m. to 1 p.m. due to the threat of heavy rains expected in the Charleston area due to the effects of Hurricane Sally.

The Bulldogs are coming off a 2-1 road victory in the season opener at Georgia Southern on Monday night. The victory over the Eagles marked the fifth straight season the Bulldogs have opened the campaign with a win.

Thursday's game with Mercer will open a three-game homestand that includes two matches next week against the Panthers of ACC foe Pittsburgh. The games with Pitt will mark the first time a team from the Atlantic Coast Conference will have visited WLI Field.
