CULLOWHEE, N.C. – The Citadel offense had a pair of 100-yard rushers for the second time this spring, and the defense did not allow a second-half point, but it was not enough as the Bulldogs fell 21-14 at Western Carolina Saturday afternoon.

How It Happened

The Catamounts got on the board first as they marched 58 yards on the opening drive and scored on a Donnavan Spencer one-yard run.
The Citadel answered right back with a nine-play drive that ended with a two-yard touchdown run from Nathan Storch.
WCU found the end zone again in the second quarter when Mikai Stanley scored from 18-yards out.
The Catamounts took advantage of a Bulldog fumble late in the second quarter and capitalized with a 67-yard touchdown run from Spencer.
The Bulldogs drove down the field on the opening drive of the second half, but turned the ball over on downs inside the Catamount five.
The Citadel kept the offense going on the next series with an eight-play drive that resulted in a 20-yard touchdown run from Jaylan Adams.
