2-Minute Drill
  •  The Bulldogs return home for the first of two-straight games as they welcome ETSU to Johnson Hagood Stadium.
  • Saturday's game will kick at 1 p.m. on ESPN+.
  • Dave Weinstein and Jason Kempf will be on the call.
  • Saturday's weather forecast is calling for temperatures to be in the mid-50s with cloudy skies.
  • The teams have met 28 times prior with ETSU holding a 16-12 advantage in the series. The Citadel is 3-1 since the series resumed in 2016.
  • The last three games in the series have been decided by a total of 13 points.
  • Last season, the teams played an instant classic. ETSU led the whole game until Raleigh Webb caught a 73-yard touchdown pass with just over four minutes to play.
  • The Bucs drove right down the field and faced a 4th-and-goal. They completed a pass near the goal line, but Chris Beverly was able to stand the ball carrier up and keep him from reaching the end zone.
  • Nathan Storch has emerged as the team's top B-Back this spring. Against Western Carolina, he set a new career high for carries, yards and touchdowns. The freshman finished with 33 carries for 125 yards and a touchdown.
  • The 33 carries are tied for the 10th most all-time and the third most by a freshman.
  • Quarterback Jaylan Adams posted his second 100-yard rushing game of the spring as he ran for 131 yards and a touchdown against WCU.
  • The Bulldog defense held WCU to just 69 yards of offense in the second half.
  • In three games this spring, the defense has allowed just seven points.
  • Linebacker Anthony Britton Jr. led the defense against the Catamounts with a career-high 16 tackles, including nine solo stops.
  • Punter Ben Steele was forced into action and responded by averaging 44.0 yards on three punts.

Inside The Numbers
0 - The Citadel defense has not allowed a point in the second half in each of the last two games. The defense has only allowed seven points in the second half in each of the three games played in the spring.
16 - Linebacker Anthony Britton Jr. recorded a career-high 16 tackles against Western Carolina. It is the most stops by a player this season, and the most in a game since Carl Robinson posted 16 stops against Wofford on Sept. 7, 2013.
44.0 - Freshman Ben Steele averaged 44.0 yards on three punts in his first action of his career. He had a long of 48 yards.
69 - The Bulldog defense held Western Carolina to just 69 yards in the second half. The Citadel kept the Catamounts off the score over the final 30 minutes.
125 - Freshman B-Back Nathan Storch recorded his first career 100-yard rushing game when he ran for 125 yards and a touchdown against Western Carolina. It marks the second-straight trip to Cullowhee where a freshman B-Back recorded his first career 100-yard rushing performance.
